To see the transformation that a rescue horse goes through will make your heart and love for horses grow even deeper. This mare below "Maggie" was found on the streets by animal control. She spent two months in quarantine and two month in a rescue pasture, before I pick her up. See in the "slide show" below her transformation. She goes from skin and bones to a beautiful healthy Arab cross mare. In a years time, she made a complete recovery and started to show in ACTHA competitive trail. She finished 7th in the state of GA in just 5 shows in the Open Division against the best horse and rider teams in the state. She has barrel raced a won D4. Maggie has won the 2016 NBRC Advanced Extreme Trail Challenge. Currently, Maggie has competed in the International Midwest Horse Fair, "Epic Horse of the Night".  She is a so smart! It took a lot of time and patience to get her to the level she is at now. I am only just tapping the beginning of her career as a show/performance horse. Giving a rescue horse a chance to be successful is a wonderful and rewarding experience that I will plan on doing again and again.
